The Fourth VIAC CAN Congress: Cultivating Ideas into Impact, taking place on Friday, 13 February 2026 in Vienna. The VIAC CAN Congress plays a vital role in advancing the objectives of the VIAC Community Ambassador Network (VIAC CAN). By bringing together leading professionals from across the network – including the impressive VIAC Ambassadors – the Congress highlights recent developments in the arbitration market, explores future trends and acts as a dynamic platform for sharing ideas, insights and connections. The programme will comprise a panel discussion of renowned experts who will discuss “Cross-Border Enforcement Trends in CEE: What Practitioners Need to Know” , and also feature an innovative rapid-format segment, “CANversations: VIAC’s 20×20 Vision” , where the stellar VIAC Ambassadors will offer a fresh glimpse into what the future of international arbitration in the CEE/SEE region may hold.
The Congress will be followed by a Gala Dinner in the magnificent Augustinian Reading Room of the Austrian National Library. The Dinner is already fully booked, you can add yourself to the waiting list and hope for the best! Otherwise, it is certainly something to look forward to next year! Continuing the tradition, participants may also wish to attend the Juristenball – the Ball of Legal Professionals at the Hofburg Palace, taking place on Saturday, 14 February 2026 (additional tickets may be released here).
